Ballet & Tap Combo Class:

Our age-based Ballet/Tap classes are a fun introduction to the basic fundamentals of dance. United recognizes the importance of teaching proper vocabulary and technique from the start of a dance education. We use uplifting music, exciting props, and positive reinforcement to introduce our young students to the world of dance. The ballet portion of the class will teach students proper stretching technique, and introduce them to beginning ballet steps and choreography. The tap portion of the class uses the Al Gilbert methodology. Tap uses specialized shoes to make rhythmic sounds requiring quick footwork, outstanding balance, and impeccable rhythm.
